At Invitation Homes, we believe that every house should feel like home. And that’s why we are introducing the Make it Home Show House . We have picked one of our very own houses in Atlanta and partnered with six top designers to bring practical, affordable, and lease-friendly home design and décor tips. These tips will help transform any space into a place you love to call home. Before we show you the results, check out the photos below to take a sneak peek of what the home looked like before our designers got started.

For our first ever Make it Home Show House, we have selected this traditional red-brick home in the greater Atlanta area.

This 2,590 square-foot home features four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, an open kitchen and living space, as well as a formal dining and sitting room. Our own design expert, Meghan Giddens , is designing the dining room, and Brittany Hayes of Addison’s Wonderland is designing the formal living room.

Emily Henderson will be decorating the open kitchen and living room space, which share an abundance of natural lighting. By bringing color and patterns into the room, Emily aims to create a room that feels warm and lively, perfect for gathering the family to make memories.

The upstairs is home to all four bedrooms, including the primary suite, which features dual sinks (and closets!) and will be decorated by Kevin O’Gara of Thou Swell . Erin Marshall of Live Pretty on a Penny will be taking a function and form approach to creating a whimsical children’s room, and Brittni Mehlhoff of Paper + Stitch will be creating a seamless multi-use room for guests.

The backyard includes a paved patio off the kitchen and living area. Rhoda Vickers of Southern Hospitality will be bringing the living space outdoors with comfortable seating and lively planters.
