Does Invitation Homes update all of its houses?
We add some updates to all of our houses on an ongoing basis, but every home is different. The amount of work we do depends on each home and its individual needs.
Will these specific finishes be put in my house?
No, the finishes on this page are examples of the investments Invitation Homes makes to highlight the beauty in many of our houses. They do not reflect the specific improvements you will find in the house you move into. We've always got an eye on interior design trends in your area, and you'll see that in the updates we make.
Will renovations happen while I’m in the house?
No, all upgrades are made before you move in! We will not make renovations to your home while you are living inside the house.
Who can I ask about the work that’s been done on my house?
You can ask your leasing professional to walk you through the work that has been done on your home before you apply. And you can see them in person during your ProCare move-in orientation. Read more about ProCare.
Who is doing the work on my house?
We hire local contractors to update our homes. Their work is overseen by an Invitation Homes superintendent. Our superintendent will go through the house and sign off on renovations to make sure the work done is up to our standards.
