Making payments

Maybe the easiest thing you do all month. There’s a few ways to make your monthly rent payments with us. If you’re paying online or using our walk-in payments option, we’ve made sure to make it as easy as possible.

Make a payment

Make sure you set up your payment account. 

The easy and secure way to pay your rent or make other payments to Invitation Homes is through your online account.

If you applied for your home online:

1. Click the profile icon at the upper-right corner of the website navigation and select “Pay my rent.” 

2. Since you already have an account, you can log in using your current username and password.

 

If you didn't apply online:

1. Click the profile icon at the upper-right corner of the website navigation and select “Pay my rent.”

2. Select “Register” and complete the required fields. A registration code is required and can be obtained from your property management team.

3. Upon completion, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Activate your account by clicking the link provided. If you don’t receive this email within 10 minutes of registering, please check your spam/junk folder.


Bank accounts require verification, which can take up to 48 hours, before they can be used for rent payments.

Set up my account

Want to make a one-time online payment?

Once again, your payment account makes it easy to stay on top of rent and other payments.

1. Click the profile icon at the upper-right corner the website navigation and select “Pay my rent.” (That’s your shortcut to our online portal.)

2. Log in to your account and select “Payments.”

3. Select the “Make Payments” tab.

4. Click the “Pay Now” button. Complete the required fields and accept the terms and conditions to complete the payment.

Automatic payments make easy even easier.

You have enough things to think about every month. Why not put your Invitation Homes rent on autopilot?

1. Click the profile icon at the upper-right corner of the website navigation and select “Pay my rent.”

2. Log in to your account and select “Payments.”

3. Select the “Auto-pay Setup” tab.

4. Select the account, start date, end date, payment day – then click the “Next” button.

5. Double-check your information, accept the terms and conditions, and click the “Set Up Auto-Pay” button to complete the setup process.

Walk in. Pay. Done.

We accept cash rent payment through our Walk-In Payment System (WIPS) at participating stores. To get your WIPS account number, please contact your property management team.

1. Visit CheckFreePay and select “WIPS Rent Payment” under the “Please select Biller” menu.

2. Fill out the relevant information to find a list of Walk-In Payment locations near you.

3. Go to nearest location with a government issued photo ID, your WIPS account number, and payment for the exact balance reflected on your payment portal.

Of course, you can also pay in-person at your local office.
